Under section 139A of the Income-Tax Act, 1961

2. Applicant is allowed to fill basic details in the Application form.

3. On submission of the application, it will redirect to payment gateway. On successful payment the Aadhaar authentication will take place.

4. If the payment transaction failed due to any unknown reasons, applicant may again initiate for payment using the option "Regenerate online PAN application".

5. The Aadhaar will be authenticated on real time basis from UIDAI server. If the authentication status is found to be perfect match then the application will be processed further.

6. In case of failure of Aadhaar Authentication, Auto Refund will be processed for the Application. Applicant can submit the new application in physical mode.

7. Once the Aadhaar authentication found matched then OTP will be generated for carrying out e-KYC services. Users have to provide OTP and the consent in the specified box to process further. The OTP will send to applicants UIDAI registered mobile number only

8. After successful authentication of OTP, applicant address details will be fetched from the UIDAI and populated in the PAN form.

9. In case the e-KYC feature fails due to any unknown technical reasons or the e-KYC feature has not worked successfully you may use the option "Regenerate online PAN application" to complete the e-KYC Process.

10. If the Mobile is not registered / not available in UIDAI automatic Refund will be processed for the Application. Applicant can submit the new application in physical mode.

11. After successful completion of e-KYC process, the application data has to verified by the applicant and provide other necessary information and submit.

12. The applicant cannot change the data after Aadhaar authentication and after successfully processed through eKYC mode.

13. After successful validation, on submit the OTP for eSign will be requested. On successfully OTP received and post submission of the OTP the application will signed through Aadhaar based e-Sign services.

14. On successfully signed the application will be saved at utiitsl and will be processed further.

15. Please note, the Applicant does not need to send any files / printouts of PAN application forms to UTIITSL office if unless it has been asked for any clarification.

2. After complete filling of the application form the applicant has to upload the supporting documents in PDF format and Picture, Signature files in JPEG/JPG format by selecting from local system or from the Digilocker as per required specification.

6. Once digitally signed, Applicant will upload the signed PDF.

7. DSC of the applicant and Validity of the DSC will be validated.

8. DSC name verification may be matched with different filled values from the application based on the names provided in different fields (for example applicant card name / in case of minor applicant assessee name / in case of non individual Verifier name). However only exact matching is allowed.

9. After successful verification of DSC, Application will be moved to processing zone.

10. Please note the user does not need to send any files / printouts if unless UTIITSL demands for any clarification.
