When choosing which teachers to ask, think about a few things: Which classes did you enjoy the most? Where did you put in a lot of effort to learn and grow? Which teachers know you best, not just as a student, but as a person as well? Also, consider diversity in subjects, a balance between STEM and humanities can provide a well-rounded picture.
